  • Adolf Hitler Becomes the Chancellor of Germany:

    Hitler took the reins of a 14 year-old German democratic republic and soon weeks after, made himslef Kaiser & started WWII. BAD
  • The Anti Comitern Pact

    Originally signed by Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan, later added many facist countries to it. It was directed against the Communist International.
  • Germany invades Poland

    This is what ignited the beggining of WWII, as Great Britain and France had pledged to help protect Poland in an attack.
  • Italy Joins War

    The Facist Regime joined the Axis and Allied conflicts after the defeat of France seemed apparent.
  • France is Conquered

    Paris, France's capital is conquered by German forces, and soon surrenders. Later Hitler's plan of the invasion of the British Isles fails and is postponed indefinitely.
  • Rome-Berlin Axis Treaty

    Also called the 3 Power Treaty or the Triparite Pact, it was for 10 years, and tied the Axis Powers together, somewhat.
  • Germany Attacks or Betrays the Soviet Union

    BIG Mistake on Germany's part! It was rather succesful at the start, but after winter rolled around, combined with stiffened Soviet Resistance, the invasion quickly turned tables on them.
  • Pearl Harbor Kamikaze

    The Imperial Japanese Navy conducts a Kamikaze on the U.S military base on Hawaii, Pearl Harbor. The U.S then enters the war.
  • Battle of Midway

    It was a crucial and decisive naval battle in the Pacific Theater against Japan! Was 1 month after Battle of Coral Sea.
  • Italian Surrender

    The Armistice of Cassibile was signed on that date, and was made public on Sep. 8th. Italy was the Axis's "soft underbelly."
  • D-Day in Normandy

    The troops engage in difficult and deadly combat and the air force supports and shields them and navy too. Eventually the war in Europe ends, but it's devestated.
  • Battle of the Bulge!

    Was a major German offensive campaign lasting from December 16, 1944 – January 25, 1945. Mainly in Ardennes region of Wallonia in Belgium, France, and Luxembourg on the Western Front.
  • German Surrenders

    They surrender in addition to Hitler, their leader's death. He kills himself via gunshot in his under ground bunker. His wife Eva goes with him via cyanide poisoning.
  • Hiroshima Aug. 6th and Nagasaki Aug. 9th

    Those 2 cities were bombed by "Little Boy" and "Fat Man", 2 atomic bombs. Little Boy was a uranium bomb, while Fat Man was a plutonium bomb.
  • Japan Surrenders and WWII ends! Whoo

    After the atomic bombings the Imperial Japanese Government surrenders to the U.S. (China was Japan's main target.)
