Return of the Reich
Not on July 1 but in the summer of 1938. Hitler supported the demains by the people for the secret funds to have a return of the Reich. Hitler was scared that Czechoslovakia had asked their allies for help. Two big allies were France and Russia and Hitler thought they would be coming for Germany. -
Other Countries findout about extrimination of Jews
Six years after Hitler was named chancellor of Germany he informed the Reichstag that the other countries were finding out about Germany hurting the Jews. Hitler tried to cover up by saying why would they want to get ride of Jews and called the Jews "splendid people". Hitler lied and said Germany wanted peace. Not even two months later Hitler took over the whole country of Czechoslovakia and the time of peace was over in Germany. -
"Attack on Gleiwitz"
The Nazis took a group of prisoners from concentration camp and brought them to Gleiwtiz a town on the broader of Poland. The Nazis dressed up the prisoners in to Polish army uniforms and killed them all. This looked like the Nazis had killed many Polish army members. The SS continued to march in and take over Poland, -
Capture of Poland
Not on Oct. 1 but in the fall of 1939. Germany took over all of western Poand and parts of central and southern very quickly. They named this new area Warthegau. Hans Frank became the ruler. As soon as they took over this area they sent all the Jews and Gypsies to the General Government of Poland which Hitler called the part of Poland he had not taken over. -
Conquest of West/New leader in Britain
Hitler had taken over most of western Eruope with the only place not taken over was Britain. Germany began the attack and won many battles. This lead to a change and the new prime minister became Winston Churchill. -
Invasion of Russia
One year after taking France the Nazis moved in to Russia to destroy the Jewish-Bolshevik menace. The German amry marched in to the Soviet Union. They moved in and had assigned postions to take over. They were told to kill anyone they thought was an enemy of the state and that became to be many people and the killing became routine for the Nazis. -
US Joins War
The US declared war on Japan. The next day on the 9th the Japanese bombed Peral Habor. Japan and Germany became allies. The sides were picked and the 2nd World War had began.
