Germany uses quick and technical strikes to take over Northern France, Belgium and the Netherlands. This takes place while the 3rd Reich over-throws Norway and Denmark starting in April of the same year.

Germany launches a 3 month series of air attacks on Great Britain just a month after Italy enters the war. These attacks were set in hopes to destroy the Royal Air Force.

the Tripartite Act united Japan, Italy and Germany. Later to join the pact was Hungary, Slovakia, Yugoslavia and Romania in November of that same year. Bulgaria joined the axis in March 1941.

Germany, Italy, Hungary, and Bulgaria invade and dismember Yugoslavia who then surrenders on April 17th. Then, the Nazis and Bulgarian army march on Greece to support Italy. Greece is defeated in June of 1941

The leaders of the terrorist group, Ustasa, proclaim Croatia. Germany and Italy immediately recognized this. Croatia joins the Axis powers formally on June 15, 1941.

Nazi Germany and its Axis partners (except Bulgaria) invade the Soviet Union. Finland joins the alliance and aids in the overrun of Leningrad by September just after Germany invades and dismembers the Baltic States. In the center of the Soviet Union, the Germans capture Smolensk in early August and head to Moscow in October. In the south, German and Romanian troops capture Kiev and capture Rostov on the Don River by mid November.

Once the Germans reached Moscow, they were forced into a chaotic retreat as the Russians counterattacked.

Japan makes a move and bombs Pearl Harbor. The Americans were unaware of the incoming fleet since they were expecting supplies from their own aircrafts around the same time. The following day, on December 8th, the United States enters WW2 by the order of President FDR and Congress.
