Anne cried terribly and so her dad was fed up with her attitude. She was always crieying here and there for any reasons. Because of that her dad said some bad things like "You have done us a great injustice" or "We haven't deserved such a reproach as this".

Mr. Kraler ceme upstairs to the secret annexe to tell everyone that Mrs. B, who was the demonstrator of biseness, wants to eat lunch in the office (in the secret annexe) at two o'clock every afternoon. Due to this, they would all have to be silent (no W.C., no talking, no eating, nothing!)

Mouschi tried to do a pool using wood shavings. It made a disaster in the house with water seeking trough the ceilings. The pool had went down from the loft to the attic and landed in a barrel of potatoes. The ceiling was dripping, and with to attic floor having holes in it, lots of yellow drips came through and into the dining room on some books and clothes.

The Gustav Line is a German defensive line drawn across the middle of Italy just south of Rome. It was built by a Feild Marshal Albert Kesselring. The attack on this line was also part of a large plan to force the Germans to provide as many troops to Italy as possible so the Allied troops could assault for what became D-Day.

U.S. Marine and Army divisions retake the island of Guam. This island was originaly owned by the U.S. but stolen by Spain in 1898, Guam was then captured by the Japanese in 1941.
