The Italian gov't forced dictator Benito Mussolini to resign. King Victor Emmanuel the third had Benito to his palace to be stripped of power and arrested. The King told Benito that he was the most hated man in Italy. -

Hitler's last weeks
The Soviets had stormed Berlin. Hitler, in his underground HQ, he married Eva Braun, his long time companion. When Hitler made out his last address a few days later he shot himself while his wife swallowed poison.
