Japan leads a massive attack on Pearl Harbor damaging muiltiple ships and killing thousands. This was Japan's first strike at the US. The Japanese mainly used airplanes and submarines.

The Allies defeat Germany and Germany is forced to surrender. Hitler and his wife commit suicide and President Roosevelt dies shortly before.

The United States uses the newly created atomic bomb and uses it against the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Following the second bomb Japan surrenders.
