After hearing that the U.S declares war on ally Japan, Germany declares war on the U.S about 5 days later.

One of the most important naval battles. The U.S. and British navy were able to hold back the powerful Japanese navy at the battle of Midway. ( Note this was more then one day and wet from June 3rd to June 6th)

After multiple attacks and many retreats along with their suicided leader. The Germans surrender to the Western Allies. With one down the U.S has one opponent left, Japan!

The United states take total control with first on August 6th with the atomic bomb on Hiroshima. Three days later the U.S. drop another atomic bomb Nagasaki to make 2 bombs in three days.

With thousands killed, and totally blasted by the U.S., the Japanese give up. A formal surrender would take place on September 2nd and with that wraps up World War 2.
