The Night of Broken Glass (Kristallnatcht) referred to as the November pogrom, was a pogrom against Jews carried out by Nazi paramilitary forces. Jews were killed, forced out of their homes. Properties Jews owned were destroyed, no medical assistance or help. Firefighters were prohibited to interfere as buildings were burned even as people were pleading and begging, they could have helped but chose to follow the orders they were given in fear of getting in trouble. -
