    The war ended in 1763. The war was over fur trade and the Mississippi river. Many people died. The British won.

    Was a statement of the boundaries of the colonist. The colonist could go no farther than Appalachia. This put boundaries on how far the colonist could go west. They did this to keep the colonists from getting killed.

    The British taxed goods for money to defend themselves. It was the first act to directly tax colonists. The colonies took this as an insult. The colonists felt they should have representation. That they should have someone in Parliament that spoke for them.

    The British taxed tea and brought in ships selling less expensive tea. They did this to try and balance the tax to not anger the colonist. The colonists feared the tea would put them out of business so the responded with the Boston Tea Party.

    The British East India Company came into the Boston harbor. Bostonians dressed as Indians and stormed three ships. They spilled all of the tea on the ships into the Boston harbor.

    The Intolerable Acts were acts passed to punish colonists for disobeying and protesting the English crown. The colonists called an intercolonial meeting about the Acts.

    After winning the war, the Colonists signed the Declaration of Independence as a guild line for all colonists. It also marked the split of England and the Colonies.
