    "Where Soldiers Come From" Documentary and Veteran Panel
    The documentary "Where Soldiers Come From" follows the story of a group of Michigan teenagers and struggles they encountered returning home. A screening of the film at Warriner Hall's Plachta Auditorium at 6:30 p.m. was followed by a discussion panel of veterans consisting of USMC Corporal Shane Taylor, USMC officer Robert Gaillard, and military spouse Tamara Sue Carlstrom. They spoke about their personal experiences returning home from their deployments.

    "When Women Come Marching Home" Documentary and Panel
    A screening of the documentary "When Women Come Marching Home" was shown at the Pearce 128 auditorium at 6:30 p.m. The film depicted the adversities women serving overseas in the military faced during their service. After the film, a discussion panel took place in Pearce .
    The members of the panel were Veterans Resource Center Coordinator and military veteranTara Emmendorfer, Tara's daughter Megan Emmendorfer, and former National Guard Contract Specialist Katherine Kreiner.

    "The Welcome" Documentary and Panel
    The documentary "The Welcome" follows a group of veterans who go on a retreat to deal with the effects of post-traumatic stress. It was shown at Dow 127 at 6:30 p.m. The film was followed by a discussion panel of four veterans sharing their own stories of PTS. The panel was comprised of reitred USMC Lance Corporal Marq Hicks, USMC Corporal Shane Taylor, USMC officer Robert Gaillard, and US Army officer Brett Packer.

    2nd Annual "Strikes for Student Veterans" Bowling Tournament
    SVA held a bowling tournament fundraiser at the Nine Eight Nine Bowling Alley at Riverwood Country Club, 1313 E. Broomfield Rd., Mount Pleasant, Mich. on Saturday, No. 23. Around thirty players participated in the event, each one contributing $25 for the student veterans relief fund.
