The collonists moved on to Indian lands so they atacked them and that started a big war called the French and Indian War -

They made a treaty so collonists couldnt go onto indian lands to stop all the fighting -
Sugar Act
The British put taxes on sugar molases and coffe and the Collonists got mad at the British. John Adams then said it was illegal to tax on thosen things so they stopped. -
Stamp Act
The British made the collonists pay taxes on paper but Samuel Adams protested so they stopped. -
Townshend Acts
The Townshend Acts was a conflict between taxes and people not wanting to pay them -
Boston Massacre
It was a major role to stop the taxes. A collonist got struck by a British soldierand a crowed gathered around him and more soldiers showed up. Then 5 people got shot and killed by some British soldiers and because the crowed was the crazy. -
Tea Act
The British started taxing tea and the colonists found out and refused to pay for tea all this lead to the Boston Tea Party. -
Boston Tea Party
The British wanted the people to unload there tea at the Boston Harbor but the Sons of Liberty did'nt want them too. So the colonists dumped dumped 90,000 pounds of the tea into the harbor. -
Intolerable Acts
Because of the Boston Tea Party the colonists were punished buy the Harbor being shut down until they payed for all the tea. And they had to house and supply British soldiers . -
Battle of Lexington/Concord
The British started marching to Lexington, then to Concord. In Lexington Paul Revere saw them coming and rode to Concord to warn all of them. Then the Colonists werer ready for them so they made the British retreat to Lexington. -
Battle of Bunker Hill
There was a fight on Bunker Hill against the British and the Colonists and the colonists won the fight. -

Common Sense was a pamphlet that argued that colonists needed to split from Britian . Most of the Colonists thought this was a good idea but the British did'nt . -
Declaration of Independence
It was a document to officialy declare independence from Britian. -
Battle of Saratoga
There was a battle in New York. And the Burgoyne won. -
Battle of Yorktown
The Colonists French allies arived to help them defeat the British. And they set up in Yorktown were the British came to try and defeat them and lost. -
Treaty of Paris
After Great Britan was defeated the colonists made the Treaty of Paris that made it so the British had to leave, they had to give all the claimed land to the colonists new government, and they had to free all the war prisoners.
