    Henry Ford was the first inventor to create an affordable automobile. Ford quickly took over the nation with regards to cars.

    This might not be the EXACT date that Covid was discovered, but from my research this is the date that WHO started realizing Covid was a threat.
  • The Zimmerman Telegram

    During WW1 (The Great War) Germany really wanted other countries to attack the US. The Zimmerman Telegram was Germanies efforts to get Mexico to attack the US.
  • WW1 Armistice

    Germany was betrayed by its allies, therefore resulting in a total loss in The Great War. They did not surrender, but simply lost the war given it was the world versus Germany
  • The 19th Amendment was formed

    This amendment allowed women to vote. Womens suffrage movements were growing in the US and this one of the most significant events attaining to Female rights.
  • Charles Lindbergh’s Flight

    Lindbergh had a goal to fly across the Atlantic Ocean. Many doubted him and called him silly for even trying. Lindbergh flew the plane known as, "The Spirit of St. Louis." He arrived safely in Paris only 34 hours later, becoming the first person to solely fly across the Atlantic Ocean in one clean stretch.

    A massive NYC stock market crash occurred, leading to spark The Great Depression.

    These events occurred between 1933-1939. President Franklin D. Roosevelt was responding to the Great Depression, attempting to give power back to the people.
  • Hitler becomes chancellor

    We all know who Hitler is, and what he did while commissioned as chancellor. Paul Von Hindenburg was the President at the time, and he was the one whom appointed Hitler to serve as chancellor.
  • The Munich Pact

    A pact signed by the UK, France, Germany, and Italy. This resolved the drama over Czechoslovakia.
  • Hitler Invades Poland

    Germany and Russia ganged up in Poland in an invasion. This was the beginning of WW2
  • Pearl Harbor

    The Japanese have made an aggressive move against the U.S by dropping bombs from the sky onto a naval base located in Pearl Harbor

    Western allies sent troops to free western Europe from the control of the Nazis
  • Formation of the United Nations

    An international group dedicated to avoiding future world wars.
  • Nagasaki and Hiroshima

    The U.S dropped an atomic bomb on both of these Japanese cities. The reason we dropped it is that we thought it was the best way to end the war with as little casualties as possible.

    George F. Kennan sent the letter from Moscow to Washington DC. He sent it to warn America about the Soviet Union refusing to join The World Bank.

    Like the United Nations. NATO was formed to keep international disagreements, along with radical countries, in check.

    Rosa Parks refused to give her seat on a bus to a white man, this was both an act of protest against racism, and sexism.

    America moved nuclear weapons into Italy and Turkey, in response the Soviets moved nukes into Cuba. Tensions were high and we were close to a full out nuclear war
