The great awakening was important because it influenced political, social, and religious views in the colonies. That is also what happened during the event. Revivals caused the Great awakening. Colonists responeded by attending revivals and church services. The Great Awakening didn't exactly end. -

Colonists responded by forming sons of liberty, boycotting goods and using violence to frighten tax collecters. It ended because 9 colonies said it was violating their rights. -

What happened during the event and why it was important was because it added tax to sugar and molasses.The French and indian war and needing to house soldiers for money led up to the event. The colonies reacted by protesting the act and calling a boycott on it. It ended because Samuel adams said it was illegal and the stamp act started. -

It was important because it placed tax on imported glass, paints,paper, and tea. Thats also what happened during the event it was caused because the british needed money for debt. The colonists responded by having boycotts, and having the sons of liberty attack the homes of tax collectors. it ended because Samuel adams wrote a letter to the king. -

The Boston massacre was important because it killed 5 colonists. The Townshend acts caused it. What happened during the event was it caused tension which caused propoganda. The colonists were upset with this. -

The tea act was important because it placed tax on tea. colonists were upset and used propoganda and boycotts. Some colonists evendestroyed tea shipments. What happened was It kept duties(taxes) in place on imported goods and only allowed the British east india company to export directly to colonies. The boston massacre led up to it. It ended because of the colonists boycotting. -

The Boston Tea Party was important because colonists dressed up as indians, went aboard a ship dumped 90,000 lbs of tea into the ocean. That's also the colonists response to the Tea act. They did this because of the tax on tea. -

The intolerable acts were important because it canceled the Massachusetts charter, closed Boston harbor, and gave Canada control over the Ohio area. That is also what happened during the event. The colonists responded by calling for a boycott and publishing propaganda. It ended in 1778 because it was repealed. -

People of boston were in hiding because of smuggled guns. That is why its important. During the event it caused the minute men to fight against the british. The colonists wanted the minute men to win. it ended with colonists and british dead, which led to battle. -

This event was important because it showed the colonists could stand up to the british. The battle of Lexington/Concord led up to the event. It made the colonists mad, so they stood up to the british. It ended because of Thomas Paine's Common sense. -

It was important because it argued about breaking away from britain. The colonists response was buying 120,000 copies which probably meant they were happy. And thats also what happened during the event. It caused the DOI. -
Declaration of Independence
The Declaration of Independence caused america's freeedom. Thomas Paine's Common sense led up to the DOI. Thomas jefferson wrote the DOI, he gave his 1st draft to the subcomitee, he got the entire subcomitee's approval in 17 days. Congress approved it, and on July 4th it was made official. 1/3 to 1/2 of the colonists were unhappy because they were loyalists. It led to the battle of Saratoga. -
