Napoleon was fighting for his power and glory and he believed he was defending France well. Napoleon was also depending on his army and them relying in him. He got them to fight by telling them he was right behind them and would come into battle if they needed help. The soldiers fought for him because they believed it was worth fighting for a leader that would help them and have that glory of fighting for Napoleon.

The people of the Congo fought for their human rights and believed that was worth fighting for. The King believed it was worth fighting for riches, containing rubber and ivory. The people were willing to rebel to gain their independence and the King was willing to respond with violence and enslavement to get the people to do what he wanted.

They were willing to ask for a portion of land in order to meet their needs and they wanted the world to give them some land. They campaigned for their state and used the media, newspapers, science and politics, and jews in international powers to convince other political people in power to get their state.

The people under Picardo or the anti-communists were fighting for democracy and having a say in their government. They were willing to fight for education as well. They were willing to rebel and start a civil war to fight for their anti-communist beliefs and representation. They were willing to abolish military to protect stability in their government.

To the Palestinians it was worth fighting for their land back from the Jews and having their own state apart from the Jews. They also did not want to be seen as terrorists at all. They offered up a chance of reconciliation with the Jews, but if they do not agree they will take it to a fight with the Jews. They made it known that they were asking civilly, but not afraid of a fight.

The people in Yemen believed it was worth fighting for their human rights and an end to their poverty. The Houthis were fighting for lower fuel prices, land, and other military related issues. They wanted their own country without a democracy. The Yemen people were willing to go to war with other countries fighting against them. The Houthis were willing to invade Yemen and use violence against them in a very harsh way.
