Cut-off Chinese immigrants into the country and didn't allow them to work for 10 years. -

Divided up tribally owned land and sold it to the public. -
Bennett Laws
Rulling passed in Wisconsin that only let teachers teach subjects in schoools, especially when there was a large German population. -
Plessy v. Ferguson
"Separate, but equal" Allowed the segregation of blacks and whites for as long as they are given equal separate ammenities. -
Day Law
Wouldn't allow teaching of black and white kids in same school over a 25 mile radius. Ruling passed in Kentucky. -
Literacy Test
Used to deny suffrage to uneducated African Americans, but still allowed illiterate whites to vote as it was required on a subjective basis. -
Mexican Repatriation
As many as 1 million Mexicans were pressured and forced out of U.S. -
Indian Termination Policy
Took indigenous status away from people and put them in the care of states. Only lasted until the 1960s. -
Operation "Wetback"
Removal of about 1 million undocumented Mexican immigrants.
