    Signing of the Declaration of Independence
    It is a very important document that was written by Thomas Jefferson and had many figures contributing to it. This is when we gained our Independence and we had Freedom from King George lll. After such a long time in war it was very important that the 13 colonies gained Independence and is as if a new country was born.
  • Signing of the U.S. Constitution

    Signing of the U.S. Constitution
    The U.S. Constitution was signed after the Articles of Confederation which was allmost a complete fail. The delegates later decided to start over and create a new government plan. Which is known as the Constitution and is very important because it resolved a lot of problems and conflicts that the Articles of Confedertion created.

    The Indian Removal Act was signed by Andrew Jackson in order to gain more land. It causes horrible devastation amoung the Native Americans because they have to leave their own home and causes the Trail of Tears. Many Indians died in the Trail of Tears and which made it a very devasting part in American History. Jackson says it is new and expensive land trying to make it sound better than it is. However, the Americans just want the land to themselves and are greedy.

    This was the day that James Marshall was the first person, James Marshall found gold. This was a very important event in history for the U.S.A. Word quickly spread about Marshall finding gold in CA. As a result, many people in the east wanted to move away from the farm lands and start a new life which took months to accomplish. They were also hoping to find gold. By 5 years, as much as 250,000 people had traveled to CA to find gold. This then lead to CA becoming the 31st state in the U.S.A.
  • "I have a dream speech"

    A very historical event when Martin Luther King made the "I have a dream speech". He explained how segregation is wrong and was in the middle of the Civil Rights Movement which helped it to end. In this time period blacks had no rights at all and was a huge problems. He also belived in peace protests so that violence wasnt involved. This is a big event in which african americans got equal rights.

    Eruption of Mt. St. Helens
    When Mount St Helens erupted it was a huge explosion. FIfty-seven people were killed during this event. Hundreds of square miles were reduced to wasteland and left this part of Washington in ash and debris. Houses were destroyed leaving people on the streets in devastation. This affected the whole world and many states because of the ash and poisanous gas that erupted out of it. This then lead to leaving the U.S. in over $2 billion of debt.

    I was born on April 2nd 2000 in Vietnam and moved over to Springfield, PA 3 years later. In 4th grade I moved to New holland and attended New holland Elementary school.I like to eat bacon.

    This is the day where the Twin Towers were attacked in New York City. It was also known as the World Trade Center and there were many people who were in the towers when the planes crashed in the building. Thousands of people also died and were injured. There is now a memorial for the 9/11 memorial in honor of the people who died. It affected everyone all around the world because all nationalities died during this accident and helped the world become united.
