    The stockmarket crash was not the cause of the great depression, it was that the banks did not have enough reserve when stock brokers wanted their money which meant no one recieved money. When no one got their money, then people started losing their jobs and the rest of the great depression is self explanatory.

    This was not exactly October 29, 1930. The actual dates took a period of time. It was in the 1300's when the stockmarket started to crash in Europe. This was happening because we couldn't pay them, from our depression.

    The stopping of the gold method was in 1931, not exactly June 3. What happened was Britain saw the U.S. in a depression with it so they got rid of it (only for a while)

    Ronald Regan was inagurated president on Jan 20, 1981.

    (Not actual event date, but it did happen in 1981) . When Regan was elected he brought down tax rates from 70 percent to 50 percent within his first of two terms in office. He eventually got it down to 28 percent.

    Ronald Regan spent nearly as much Nixon, Ford and Carter combined in his first term on war, then he slowed down on spending in his second term.

    (Not actual event date, but it did happen in 2001) George Bush made it through the largest tax cut in American history.
  • Terrorism at the World Trade Center

    2 Al Qaedan people took over 2 American planes and ran them into the World Trade Center in New York, New York.
  • Warrantless Wire-Tapping

    (Not actual event date, but it did happen in 2013) The NSA started wiretapping our phone calls becuase of wire tapping.
