    The american created a law to make people give up things in their homes like a bed, candles, cooking utensils, this law was passed by Parliament. The stamp law disappeared, and the colonists weren’t to happy about it.

    Charles Townshend persuaded Parliament to pass the Townshend Acts and the new laws were placed a duty and/or tax. This caused the colonists to have bad behavior.
