PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT:
-may stand erect with only little support
-may stand alone for a short time
may creep like a bear with hands an feet
-may be able to walk sideways
-walks fast and runs stiffly
-pushes and pulls large tools around the floors -
1 1/2 years : 13 -18 M0NTHS
COGNITIVE DEVELOPMENT:
-Loves to mimic all actions
-explored diffrent features of objects
-has a very short memory and attention span
-Begins to figure things out through thought process
-enjoys working with shapes -
2 yrs 19-24 MONTHS
PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT:
-walks sideways and backwards
-runs without falling often
-loves to run, jump, and climb
-bounces and sways in simple dancing movements
-can throw a ball into a basket -
2 yrs: 19-24 MONTHS
COGNITIVE DEVELOPEMENT
-use imaginative play
-can remember familiar objects without seeing them.
-likes to make marks on paper with big crayon.
-identifys familiar objects
-recognizes when picture books are upside down. -
2 1/2 yrs. : 25-30 MONTHS
PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT:
-enjoys running but is inable to measure certain stops
-climbs everywhere indoors
-plays ons swings, ladders, and othe playground equipment
-opens doors by turning knobs
-can soap hands and arms with ease -
2 1/2 yrs. : 25-30 MONTHS
COGNITIVE DEVELOPMENT:
-becomes intrested in childrens t.v shows
-enjoys playing house
-likes to imitate family members
-is able to identify pictures drawn or painted
-can follow two step commands -
3 yrs: 31-36 Months
PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT:
-enjoys games involving running
-goes up stairs by alternating feet
-throws a ball overhead but aim is still poor
-walks on tiptoes
-likes to be in constant motion -

COGNITIVE DEVELOPMENT:
-uses symbolic reprensentation
-begins to classify objects into general catogories
-identifies familiar objects by touch
-recognizes self in photographs
-becomes more skilled at putting puzzles together
