the Battle of the Vimy Ridge
The battle of Vimy Ridge took place from April 9, 1917, to April 12, 1917. This was an important battle for Canada as it was across big territorial land and this was the first battle that Canada fought with the four divisions of the Canadian Corps entering the battle together. It was a very hard-earned victory and a time of a big process in Canada because that major victory ensured that us Canadians were going to be a safe and free nation after the war.
