Walter Cunningham
During the break at school Scout goes and beats up Walter Cunningham for getting her in trouble. After Jem stops Scout he invites Walter to eat at their house. -
Lunch With Walter
After Scout stops Walter from pouring molasses all over his food Calpurnia calls Scout over to the kitchen and teaches her a lesson about hospitality and that Walter is her their guest so they shouldn't judge him. -
School
After Scout finds out that Burris only goes to school the first day she decides that she wants to do the same. She wants to do this because she wants to be able to read with Atticus at home. -
The Compromise
When Scout gets home she tells Atticus what is wrong and says she doesn't want to go to school anymore. After he hears what Scout has to say he decides to make a compromise with her. He tells her that if she goes to school she will be able to read with him after school.
