Harold Bride recieves iceberg warning from operator. -
Noon
Two more iceberg warnings were recieved by Harold Bride from nearby ships. -
7:30 P.M.
The radio room three more warnings of ice about fifty miles ahead. -
11:00 P.M.
Jack Thayer went below to his cabin, put on his pajamas, and got ready for bed. -
11:40 P.M.
Fred Fleet and his fellow lookout were waiting to bbe relieved so they could head below, perhaps for a hot drink before hopping into their warm bunks. Then Fred Fleet saw something a huge, dark shape loomed out of the night directly ahead of the Titanic. It was an iceberg. -
Midnight
The mail room and the boiler room flooded. -
12:30 A.M.
The captain started to give orders to load the lifeboats. -
2:05 A.M.
There were still over 1,500 people left on the sinking ship. -
Dawn
The Carpathia comes to the survivors rescue.
