    Harold Bride recieved Ice Berg Warning. Doesn't think it is a big deal because they is normaly icebergs in the ocean in April.

    The Titanic recieved three more iceberg warnings 50 miles away. One of them was from the Californian and they reported seeing three of them.

    Jack Thayer went to bed. Harold Bride(Radio Man) went to lay down.

    The iceberg hit and the mail room was quickly filling up with water. More water was pouring into the foward holes and 2 of the boiler rooms.

    Fred Fleet had seen an iceberg coming straight for the Titanic. The officer orderd them to turn the wheel as far as it could to try and get away from it, they even tried putting the engines in reverse.

    Captain Smith was giving orders to start loading the life boats with women and children. Many people didn't want to leave the ship because they thought it wasn't going to sink.

    Over 1,500 people left on the sinking ship. They had no chance of surviving all of the life boat were floating away.

    The Californian was the first to help get the people safe. A lot more people got helped because of the Californian.
