    Polynesia is a large group of islands amongst the Pacific. Many family's travelled to the islands bringing many animals and fresh produce to settle. They biult thatched houses to conoise and fished to support the food supply.

    Japan Under the Shoguns
    The meaning of shogun is basically "top of the military". So the shoguns had a leadership in that but eventually biult up more and more power and overtook the court officials and became the leaders of Japan. There were two family's who leaded this at different times in different places. The shoguns were finally ended in 1868 as they were forced to take down the position and let the Emporor's court regain it's power again.

    The Black Death
    The black Death was a herrific disease that existed throught the short period between 1348-1350 and occurred a further six times later in that century. It killed a total of 1.5 million, as there was no medical knowledge in Medieval Europe. So sick people/diceaces were treated terribly, by being thrown on the street when they died as no one knew of anything else to do with them.

    The Renaissance were a bunch of European scholars started to study the world surrounding them a bit more. They started to explore new places and inform it through forms of art. Scientists then called this "the start of modern history".
