The allies started to see Hitler was trying to take Europe and introduces Appeasement which went something like this.
Hitler: I want this thing
Allies: Ok you can have this but no more
Hitler: I want this thing
And so on. -
Hitler starts growing his army and invades the Rhineland and says if any allies comes near you retreat and come back. He also grows his army to about 1 million people around this time. He grows his navy as well. The allies of Europe did nothing.

Hitler traps the allies and forces the UK to make a quick escape by using boats at Dunkirk to go back to the UK. With Frances weaken army, Hitler rushes into France taking Pairs and France falls.

All three of them feel racially superior to the everyone else and want to take more land. They all also fear the allies.

The Tripartite Pact was for the Axis and it basically said that We wont attack you if you dont attack us.

Hitler decided to invade Russia to turn on them and take their land with massive encircling movements capturing millions of people. This was well and good until it became winter and Russia sent troops that were prepared for winter and pushed back Germany a lot.

Japan decided to take more land but South Asia was heavily populated with Americans and other allies. It was also surrounded by Ocean which meant Naval war and Japan could not stand a chance going against the U.S. so they decided to destroy the U.S. navy before invading other countries. Thus the attack on Pearl Harbor.

After Hitler took France, He launched an invasion on the UK, targeting Ports, air bases, and large cities such as London. The Air force fought back and took Air supremacy over the English Channel.

The U.S. decided to drop an atomic bomb on Japan to help end WWII
