The Holocaust
This was the mass killing of the Jews, lasting almost the entire war and terrorizing many Jewish lives filled with many sorrows, inflicted with punishments and treated like animals. During this event Hitler became more eager to destroy the Jews that he terrorized half Jews too. The Jews were sent to cramped areas called concentration camps. They would be cramped into beds that were just big enough to lay down in, not to mention harsh orders they couldn't even understand by the Germans. -

The Battle of Britain
This was the time in which Great Britain counter-attacked the German fleet that was trying to invade the country. The royal air force barracks was destroyed, but the British still took out about half their fleet. The Germans were expecting a surrender or that Britain would drop out of the war, but by then, with Britain still fighting, they did not find it as a possibility, the attack of the Germans was called the Blitz for the mass killing of British of citizens. -

The Blitz
September 7, 1940 – May 10, 1941
The Blitz was an 11 week span of the bombing in London by the Nazi's. The raids were usually at night every single day. 350 bombers dropped 300 tons of bombs, destroying a third of London and setting of 100 different fires one of the nights. They also destroyed other cities Swansea, Cardiff, Bristol, Southampton, Plymouth, Birmingham, Coventry and Liverpool. During the Blitz 32,000 civilians were killed and 87,000 were seriously injured. -
