    In response to Hitler's invasion of Poland, Great Britain and France declared war on Germany. This surprised the over-confident Hitler and diverted his grand plan to occupy Poland, then Russia, and with Russia's endless natural resources in his control, to take the rest of the world while having one war front at a time.

    Historical Perspective: The U.S was probably trying to avoid any involvement in Europes problems and WWespically after the bloodshed the encountered during WW1. The U.S probably thought that it didnt need to rely on other nations or allier and it could pursue its own interests regardless of what happened anywhere else
    Historical Sig: Hitler had less nations to fight against and more room to gain power since the U.S decided not to get involved

    Hisroical Perspective: Although Canada was getting more wiggle room from Great Britian, Canada probably still felt the need to support the motherland at war even though it was more independent

    Historical Perspective: Hitler wants to humiliate France by having them sign the armistice on the same spot Germany did twenty-two years ago. Hitler wants France to pay for being so harsh on Germany and publicly humiliates them in their own country. He make sures they suffer concequences just like France had did onto them

    Historical Sig: This added morw strength to the allied forces and a major disadvantage to Hitler and his army

    Historical Perspective: Hitler probably belived he was big enough to take on the U.S because he was already dominating majority of Europe and his army has grown significantly powerful
    Historical Sig: This added another allied force against Hitler which was only to his disadvantage because the force of all the countries will eventually take him down

    Con & Change: As a result of America engaging in war with Japanany allien enimies were sent to relocation centres, just like Canada did druing WW1
    Historical P: America probably wanted to ensure their was no spys or people from Japan causing uprisings. They didnt want people of Japanese decent to spread any negative messages about Americas desicions therfore they put them in a center where they can monitor them all

    Historical Sig: People from all over the world were beginning to hear the amount of Jewsbeing murdered under Hitlers rule and was promised to be avenged for their acts from countries like Britian
    Ethical D: It was ethicaly wrong for Hitler to murder a certain group of people simply because of his negative encounters with a few of them or the ignorant belifs of others

    Battle of Stalingrad

    Truning Point:
    Stalingrad, which destroyed much of the German army and ensured that Russia would not fall. The men and material that the Germans lost was catastrophic to them and they were doomed from that point forward.This would have made them awfully difficult for the the US and Britain to defeat in the West.

    Con & Change: The allied defeating hilters army will lead to further surrunders by the germans and eventually the fall of Hitler

    The worlds first so called Tank battle took place in modern day Ukraine and this was where Germany really did lose the war against Russia.

    Historical Perspective: Hitler probably did not want to lose his powerful ally and orders his troops to rescue him so he can rebuild his government and help Germany in the war.
    Historical Sig: Hitler helping Italy rise againg leads to his own destruction after Italy declares war on Germany

    Historical sig : D-Day, the allied invasion of France, did not change the outcome of the war, as Germany was already losing it, but it marked the long awaited beginning of the last chapter of the war. The war ended a year after D-Day .

    Historical Sig: The Germans are slowly being stripped of their power and the allied forces are beginning to see victory as Hitlers army starts to back down from various battle fronts.
