    Proclamation of 1763
    The Proclamation Line of 1763 was a boundary imposed by that of the British along an Eastern Continental Divide in the Appalachian Mountains. Which this made the colonial response of them being angry due to them feeling that the British was schemeing to keep them under their harsh rule and only wanted the east mountains so they can watch them. Which the colonists as a result rebelled against this law.
  • Sugar Act

    Sugar Act
    The new Sugar Act eliminated the importation of any foreign rum and lowered the charge on foreign molasses from 6 to 3 pence per gallon while keeping a high duty on foreign refined sugar. Which due to this act the colonists would protest and yelled out against taxation without proper representation in Parliament and proposed some sort of organized protest across all of the colonies.

    The Currency Act regulated currency, removing the paper money used in the colonies in favor of a system based on the pound sterling, to protect British merchants. The Currency Act drew criticism from the American colonists. Which the colonists created some sort of coordinated protest across all of the colonies.
  • Stamp Act

    The Stamp Act helped raised money for Britain troops. In response the colonists made it clear that they wouldn't pay the tax.
  • Quartering Act 1765

    The Quartering Act forbade the unjust treatment of British soldiers in private residences, but it did the financial responsibility for establishing barracks. In response the colonists opposed this act due to them having to pay tax for the barracks yet they are still very new.
  • Declaratory Act

    The Declaratory Act repealed the Stamp Act. The colonies response was would be them outraging and they new more acts would come soon.
  • Townshend Act

    Townshend Act
    This Act made it so glass, paint, china, paper, and all teas couldn't be sent to the colonies. In return the colonies created boycotts against this act.
  • Boston Massacre

    Boston Massacre
    The Boston Massacre was a war due to the unfair taxation on the colonies and the British made them fight for their rights. The colonies continued to boycott and this lead to the revolution.
  • Boston Tea party

    Boston Tea party
    Boston Tea party was the colonists rebelling against the over taxation and starting the revolution. 300+ chests of tea would be dumped into the harbor as a way the American colonists showed their hatred towards the Britain's idea of putting tax onto them without representation.
  • Quartering Act 1774

    This acted made the colonies help create barracks and give supplies to the British troops. The colonies still opposed of what they were doing and was coming up with a plan for the revolution.

    This act was a series of four lass passed by Great Britains king.The colonists wasn't sure about the act at first but they also believed it was an act that showed continental congress. .
  • Quebec Act

    The Quebec Act made the America to have the confidence to go for independent. The American colonists were alright with this act but the British colonists wanted a revolution.
