    August Strindberg
    "August Strindberg" was a Swedish play writer, novelist and short story writer. He wrote many plays like A Dream Play, The Dance Of Death and Miss Julie while, one of the most important ones was A Dream Play written in 1902. This play was written to decide whether human complaints were justified or not. It is noted as one of Strindberg's most influential dramas.

    Futurism
    Futurism is a event or trend for the future. Futurism was launched in 1909 to help speedup the process of the machine age. This was launched by Filippo Tommaso Marinetti an Italian who priased the speed and energy of the machine age through theatre. The futurists of this time period looked to replace the old way of set in order to find a more efficient way.

    Alfred was an English director, producer & screen writer. Some films he directed where Pyscho, Rear Window, Rope & Vertigo. Alfred is considered one of the most influential directors of this time period. Alfred was involved with many films as well. Alfred studied the history of cinema as well. Alfred also won many Academy Awards & an Oscar for Rebecca a movie directed in 1940.

    "Our Town", is a play that was written to show patterns through life cycles as well as human experience. This play was different because it was a three act play. This play won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama. The play was to teach people how everyday life functions through its citizens. It was first performed in 1938 in New Hampshire close to Massachusetts.

    "Death of a salesman", is written by Arthur Miller. This is about is a about a man who can not learn to except change within himself but also society and the world around him. The play is a jumble of the mans life in one to depict his last hours of his life. This play shows a challenge between a person and the outside causing for him to commit suicide.     Lawrence was an English actor & director. He also worked in films throughout his life, in 1949 he spoke many of William Shakespeares lines. He was very good at speaking in a way it came off as if it was his own thoughts & feelings. Lawrence was awarded many many Academy Award Nominations. By the end of his career he gained 10 Academy Awards Nominations. Lawrence acted in Hamlet & Rebecca.

    Chanel was a French Fashion Designer & Business women. She was a fashion designer for theatre she abandoned the traditional for wearing corsets to a more classy relaxed look. She wanted to bring back, skirts, dresses, cardigans, & simple suits. She brought about a feminine form of style to push out the corset silhouette style for women. COCO, was awarded the Neiman Marcus Fashion Award in 1957.
