    Happylife Home and nursery
    The nursery is very realistic. Lydia tells George that she thinks something is wrong with it and it doesn't feel right. She tells him to call a psychologist because the nursery is different from what it used to be. George is the father and Lydia is the mother and the nursery is in their sound proof Happylife Home, which ahd cost them thirty thousand dollars installed. The house was mechanical and required no effort to do anything.
  • George and Lydia Hadley in the nursery

    George and Lydia go into the nursery to see what is it like in there. George feels as if it is actually real and begins to feel the sun. George and Lydia begin to see the setting, with the wind and a water hole, animals, and now the sounds. However, Lydia is very tense and nervouse, whereas George is relaxed and believes none of this is real. They get away from the lions but Lydia is crying and frightened while George is laughing and trying to comfort her.

    In this section, Lydia is basically having a breakdown and is so frightened by the scene in the nursery. George still doesn't think it's real but he tries to do whatever he can to comfort Lydia. He also listens to her to tell Wendy and Peter to not read any more on Africa and to shut down the nursery and do everything by themselves instead of relying on technology. Lydia asked him a question and unsure how to answer it because his eyes saw a tremble from behind the door, answers "of course not"

    George and Lydia were eating dinner by themselves. Also, after he ate, he went back into the nursery to try to change the setting and people, but it didn't work. Finally, Wendy and Peter came home and found them in the nursery. George and Lydia told them to tell them about the nursery, but then Wendy just ran off and changed the whole setting. There was George's old wallet on the floor.

    George and Lydia question how Wendy changes the settings. They start to feel sorry for buying that room for them. "They come and go when they like; they treat us as if we were offspring. They're spoiled and we're spoiled." This explains how the parents feel about their kids. They later heard two screams from downstairs and the roar of lions.

    Peter asks his father if the nursery will be closed, and George says that it depends on him and his sister. Peter gives his father a lot of attitude and keeps questioning him about the same thing.
  • Doctor David McClean Pays a Visit

    Doctor David McClean Pays a Visit
    SInce the malfunctions of the nursery, the Hadleys call McClean to fix the nursery. Once he arrives, Doctor McClean examines the nursery and proclaims that the nursery isn't feeling good. The Doctor further explains that the room should be torn down and that the kids should receive therapy for a year. George and Lydia then find Lydia's bloody scarf and turn off the nursery.

    David McClean shows up and finds only the children in the nursery. He is confused where the parents are. Wendy then asks him whether he would like a cup of tea.

    the parents turn off the nursery and the children are in hysterics. Lydia then tells them to use it for one moment, but then they hear noises from the children. They go to see what is happening and get locked in by the children. The lions then eat and kill Mr. and Mrs. Hadley.
