A religious group called "Quakers" formed, one of the first signs of freedmen trying to fight against slavery. -

Significance:
Most of north didn't want slaves, but the south was filled with them, causing more conflict. -

Signifigance:
It showed how much people relied on slavery, as to not want to live in Georgia because of the antislavery rules. Only when James Oglethorpe changed the law did people come to Georgia. -
