    The Charles Townshend

    A tax on lead, glass, paint and tea which angered the colonists generated a group of women who called themselves the Daughters of Liberty. The Daughters of Liberty, derived from the Sons of Liberty, and they boycotted the British clothing industries by making their own clothes for the colonists.
  • The Boston Massacre

    the propaganda formed by Paul Revere]s image which implied that a bar fight between 50 colonists and a small group of redcoats in which 5 people died was a massacre. In reality the colonists tortured the redcoats by throwing snow, ice and even rocks at them, while in the image the colonists were shown as praying women an innocent people being killed by redcoats while aiding fellow colonists. The redcoats were also in a line, appearing much more than in actuality, balancing the sides.
