    The french are defeated. This strengthed the 13 colonies. The British begin to tax the colonists to pay for the war. We the colonists are happy that the British won but, we are upset that the British are taxing us.

    The Proclamation of 1763
    The proclamation of 1763 banned all colonists from settling west of the Applachian Mountains. We the colonists widely ignored it because it was impossible for the British to enforce.
  • Sugar Act

    Sugar Act
    This act put a tax on products susch as sugar, wine, coffee, and molases, and other things. This included hard punishments for smugglers. We the colonists boycotted British goods.
  • Stamp Act

    Stamp Act
    Colonists had to buy additional stamp for documents, wills, newspapers, contracts, and even playing cards. We the colonists burned all the stamps and we were angered by this awful act. The British will pay for what they have done. The British will learn who is the boss.
  • Quartering Act

    Required colonists to house and feed British soldiers. Colonists had to feed them. We the colonists are outraged. We want revenge. We refused to let them in our house. We will put a stop to this. The British have to pay for this. They will be defeated.
  • Townshend Act

    Townshend Act
    British passed this act to raise money. British put taxes on imports and products. This outraged colonists. We the colonists were angry. We boycotted goods and smuggled goods. British soldiers were angry but, we dont care.
  • Boston Massacre

    Boston Massacre
    The colonists started a riot and they started throwing rocks and snowballs at British troops. Then one of theBritish soldiers shot Crispus Attucks a former slave and dock worker. Four other men died seven were injured. We the colonists we very angry. They killed are good friend Crispus Attucks, We will do something about this. The British will pay.

    This tax helped the British East India Company get a monopoly. This taxed tea. The colonists could not buy tea from anyone execpt the East India Company. We the colonists are outraged. British thinks there so smart we will show them. Our friends the Sons of Liberty are planning something.

    Organized by the Sons of Liberty, colonists dressed as Mohawk indians boared three ships carrying tea and dumped all of it. There was 342 crates of tea. It was worth a lot of money. We the colonists destroyed the Britishs tea. The British lost tons of money. We are very happy.

    These were laws sponsored by British man Lord North in response to the Boston Tea Party. This made people furious. We the colonists grow angry and boycotted goods. We will do something about this. This cant keep happenning.

    Paul Reveres Ride
    Paul Revere rode from Lexington to Concord to warn Americans that the British are coming. We the colonists will always remember Paul Revere because of him we are saved. We thank Paul Revere very much.

    This was the first battle of the war. The British were defeated by colonists. This was hope for the colonists. We the colonists are so happy. We will win this war. The British will fall and we will rise. America will win its freedom.
