  • Treaty of Paris-1763

    Treaty of Paris-1763
    Great Briton, France, and Spain with the agreement of portugal signed this treaty. It ended the seven year war also known as the french and Indian War.
  • Proclamation of 1763

    Proclamation of 1763
    The Proclamation of 1763 was made to keep settlers from settling past the Appalation mountains. It was to help keep peace with the indians.
  • The Stamp Act

    This act was a tax on all paper and stuff like that, that the colonists used. It was made because the british were in debt.
  • Quartering Act

    The Quarteribng act was something the British passed in 1765 which said that the colonists would have to house and feed British souldiers.
  • Townshend Acts

    The acts put a tax on glass, paint, oil, lead, paper, and tea. The acts were passed in intention of raising £40,000.
  • Boston Massacre

    The Boston Massacre was were british army soldiers killed 5 civilians and injured six others.
  • Boston Tea Party

    The Boston Tea Party was were 30 to 130 men, some dressed as indians, went onto the British boats in the harbor and dumped all the tea into the water.
  • Intolerable Acts

    The acts made it so that massachusetts could not self govern and have historic rights. The colonists thought that this was a violation of there rights.
  • 1st Continental Congress

    The First Continental Congress was formed by the colonists after Briton passed the intolerable acts. One thing the colonists succeded with was to boycott the British goods beginning on December 1st 1774.

    These battls were the first military engagements of the revolutionary war. These battles were te first outbreak of open armed conflict between the colonies and Great Briton.

    The 13 British Colonies In America were no longer a part of Briton after they signed this declaration. They 13 Colonies became Independent States.
  • Battle of Seratoga

    The British and American armys fought 9 miles from Saratoga, New York. There was two battles one was on September 19 1777 and the other was on October 7 1777.
  • Battle Of Yorktown

    The battle was where the American and French troops combined armies to attack the British controlled New York City. The Spanish also helped by protecting the French fleet with their navy.
