  • Navagation acts

    The Nav acts utilated trade btween E. and 13 colonies. This cause friction btween england and 13 colonies who saw this as limiting growth btween trade with other countries
  • French and Indian War

    When the french were fighting the british for the ohio river valley. When the war was over the british were in debt so they raised taxes which caused protests
  • The Proclamation of 1763

    When the Idians were angry bc colonists were moving into their land. British didnt want to fight so they drew a line along the applaction mountians and you could not cross and anyone who had already settled had to move back
  • Sugar act

    The stamp act was a raise in taxes because the britsh were in debt after the war. There were protests, petitions, and boycotting. The british later took down the stamp acts
  • The Quatering Act

    The Quatering Act was a law that stated British troops occupided the homes of colonists and searched their belongings. They also had to be fed and entertained. Another rule was that British officials to search ships cargo without reason.
  • Boston Massacre

    On this night soldiers were standing guard of british buildings when a group of people started throwing snowballs and rocks at the soldiers. The soldiers panicked and fired shots into the crowd.
