    Treaty of Paris
    The signing of the treaty formally ended the Seven Years' War. In this treaty the British received Quebec and the Ohio Valley. This very victory temporarily brought American colonists close to the British but eventually help tear them apart. The British started looked down at the colonials they begin to regarded them as crude and lacking culture. This is what begin the resistance of the colonists towards the British.

    Proclamation of 1763
    Proclamtion of 1763 issued by King George which it forbade settlers from settling past a line drawn along the Appalachian Mountains.The purpose of the proclamation was to organize Great Britain's new North American empire and to stabilize relations with Native North Americans through regulation of trade, settlement, and land purchases on the western frontier. The colonists were upset about this because it forbade them from settling in Ohio River valley which fertile soil for farming

    A revenue-raising act passed by the British that placed tax on sugar, wine, and other important items. The reason why the British passed this act was so the colonist would pay for the defense and protection they recieve from the British during the Seven Years War. The Sugar Act made the colonists very upset so they began to boycott or stop buying the items that had been taxed

    An act to required the colonies to provide barracks and supplies to British troops.The British forced the colonist to accept this act since they were protected the colonists from the French during the Seven Years War. But the colonists disputed the legality of this Act because it seemed to violate the Bill of Rights of 1689.

    Declaratory Acts
    An act passed by the Parliament which repeal of the Stamp Act 1765. Parliament repealed the Stamp Act because boycotts were hurting British trade and used the declaration to justify the repeal and save face. The declaration stated that Parliament's authority was the same in America as in Britain. The colonist ignored this defense statement due to celebration of the repeal of the Stamp Act.

    Taxes created by the Parliament that were place on glass, paint, oil, lead, paper, and tea.The money that was collected from these taxes was used to pay the salaries of British colonial officials. The colonists reacted to this by inforcing noimportation on british goods, protesting, and creating newspaper articles that attack British policy.

    Boston Massacre
    When British soldiers killed five American colonists and injured six others. It all started when British troops were stationed in Boston in order to protect and support the king's appointed colonial officials attempting to enforce unpopular Parliamentary legislation. Because tensions between the American colonists and the British were already running high A group of colonists began to throw snowballs at the british soldiers. Enrage by this, the British soldiers shot at the crowd of colonists.

    the Tea Act was passed by the Parliament to help the East India Company was having financial problems and burdened with £ 8,000,000 of unsold tea. This Act granted the Company the right to directly ship its tea to North America. Another the reason why the Parliament made this act was to undercut the price of tea smuggled into Britain's North American colonies. The colonist reacted to this act by forcing the tea ships back to Britain or would not allow them to unload the tea.

The acts stripped Massachusetts of self-government and historic rights, triggering outrage and resistance in the Thirteen Colonies. This act trigger the developments in the outbreak of the American Revolution.
