Pearl Harbor attack
The Japanese launched a surprise attack on a U.S. military base. In the harbor there were 8 American battleships and more than 90 naval vessels. About 21 ships were destroyed or damaged, also about 300 planes were also damaged. -
Holocaust end
The Holocaust ended. People tried to end discrimination against Jewish people. Over 6 million Jewish people died in the Holocaust and 5 million others. -
Korean war began
The USA went to war in Korea for three reasons. The first reason was the ‘Domino theory’. The second was to end Communism and protect the American way of life. Thirdly, Truman noticed the USA was in a competition for world domination with the USSR. -
Marriage of the Randall family
Nancy and Rick Randall got married. After they were married they had 5 boys. -

There was no peace treaty signed to end this war, it just ended. All that was signed was a cease-fire agreement. -

Ron (my step dad) graduated from Romeo High School
Ron graduated with a class of around maybe 200-300 people or more. When he went to school here the pool wasnt there yet. -
Mom's First Job
Big boys was where mom first worked, she was a waitress. Someone left her a $20 tip for the first day of work, for just bringing them a piece of pie and cup of coffee. -
Mom graduated from Armada High School
It was a sunny day. Around 170 students were in her class, who also graduated that day. -

I was born
A Red wings hockey game was going on while I was being born and they scored a goal when I was born, They left the TV in the hospital room on when I was born, and my dad (matt) yelled out "score" just as I was being born. -
Parents got married
Step dad (ron) and mom got married. They got married at the court by Justice of peace. I got to hit the gabel on the judges desk. Judge Leduc married them. -
9/11 attack
At 8:46 a.m., five hijackers crashed American Airlines Flight 11 into the World Trade Center's North Tower, and at 9:03 a.m., another five hijackers crashed United Airlines Flight 175 into the South Tower. -
Lottery won
A lottery pool had won a lottery ticket worth $10,000 but had to split it up and my mom only got $500 out of it.Brother in law Jeff went to Lansing to get all the money for the ticket, then split it up between the other people. -
Haiti earthquake
Alot of people were suffering from stravation after the earthquake. there were also many deaths too. The U.S. tried to help as much as they could. -
Japan earthquake
The most-powerful earthquake in Japan's recorded history struck off the country's northeast coast. It left hundreds of people dead, injured or missing.
