Dred Scott VS. Sanford
Slave is taken to territory where slavery is illegal from Misouri but returns to slavery. Slave sues for freedom but court rules against him because he is not a U.S citizen so he can't sue in the U.S courts. Also he is bound by Misouris slavery code. -
