the first few photos were very blurry and difficult to see. They made the best of what they had. There was a totsl of 29 photos but they were transmitted very slowly.

The Luna 3 was 480,000 km from Earth by the 10th of October.

Finally by Oct. 18th scientists recieved 17 out of 29 photos sent from the Luna 3. It took about 11 days to send 17 photos.
