The Photos
the first few photos were very blurry and difficult to see. They made the best of what they had. There was a totsl of 29 photos but they were transmitted very slowly. -
Long way from home!!
The Luna 3 was 480,000 km from Earth by the 10th of October. -
We can see the pics!!
Finally by Oct. 18th scientists recieved 17 out of 29 photos sent from the Luna 3. It took about 11 days to send 17 photos. -
1st orbit
the luna 3 completes its first orbit around the Earth. -
Boom!!
The Luna 3 is falling in Earths atmosphere and is burning up. It keeps on falling and burning until it blows up.
