IB Future Timeline

  • The IB is founded

  • Middle Years Programme is Launched

  • eAssessment for MYP students is launched

  • IB introduces Anti-Racism and DEI Course for Students

    Students are now required to take at least one course examining the effects of racism in our world, promoting culturally competent and aware learners.
  • Launch of Hybrid Learning Courses

    Courses can be taken with a hybrid learning model - half online, half in-person learning, allowing more independent learning to take place and flexibility for students with demanding schedules (athletics, etc).
  • Launch of Interdisciplinary and Co-op Courses

    Courses that span more than one subject are introduced. In the Career-related Programme, students also get the option of participating in a short co-op or internship during the school year as part of the course.
