    Dr. Musoke dies of Mysterious Disease
    Dr. Musoke is infected while trying to help Charles Monet. He makes contact with his blood, causing the infection to take place. Shortly after, maybe a week or so, he dies.
  • Nacy Jaax works with Ebola monkeys

    Nacy Jaax works with Ebola monkeys
    Nancy Jaax is granted passage to work with these infected monkeys. She gets a cut on her hand earlier in the day, and while working with the monkeys, discovers there was a hole in her hazmat suit. There was blood to blood contact, yet no infection.

    Peter Cardinal was sick after visiting Kenya, and his mom was not satisfied with the treatment he had been given so far. So he was taken to a more advanced doctor, for further examination. He died of internal bleeding a couple days later.

    Kitum Cave is now being examined as "A Hot Zone", and further inspection is needed. A group from the United States come to Kenya for aid and research. They test animals for infection in the cave, but there is no positive sign of infection sadly.

    John, brother of Jerry, is mysteriously murdered. The killer is unclear, but it is assumed to be John Weaver. Jerry becomes obsessed with solving the murder. He even fantasizes about killing Weaver himself.

    Jaax family has the worst Thanksgiving ever
    The Jaax family has a horrible thanksgiving, as they go to Wichita to eat with Nancy's family. Her father is battling against cancer. It is a tough time around the house, and shortly after, they fly to Andale, Kansas to grieve for John.
  • Tom Geisbert works with the virus

    Tom Geisbert works with the virus
    Tom finds a tiny dot in his cell, and cuts the strain of the virus with a diamond blade, which can cut the tiniest of objects. He then uses a human hair to stir the mixture. After finding tiny rope-like structures, Tom slowly realizes he is infected. He is worried at the least.

    Dan Dalgard begins to panic once he realizes his monkeys might have Marburg. He might be infected too, he just doesn't realize it yet. The monkeys have a virus in their actual body, in their meat, and it is not good news for Dan Dalgard

    Peter Jahrling cannot believe the results
    Jahrling is at the lab, and confirms that the strand is in fact Ebola Zaire. He cannot believe it. The government gets involved and concludes that this might be a National emergency. They have two options for the monkeys now. They can either be killed by Ebola, or by the humans.

    Caretaker Jarvis Purdy dies of heart attack
    Jarvis Purdy strangely dies of a heart attack, and it is wondered whether it was caused by Ebola or not. Dan Dalgard is scared, and orders that all caretakers must wear bio-hazard suits before entering the cage.
  • Nancy Jaax examines the corpses

    Nancy Jaax examines the corpses
    Nancy and Ron Trotter put on bio-hazard suits and walk into the place where the monkeys are kept. They are checking for positive signs of Ebola, but none are truly found present. She notes that the monkey's eyes are normal, as opposed to red or cloudy.

    Jerry visits Gene to map out a plan
    Jerry Jaax visits Gene Johnson to map out the new priorities: Priority One is to ensure the safety of the human population. Priority Two is to euthanize the animals as humanely as possible. Priority Three is to gather scientific samples to learn more about the strain.

    450 Monkeys temporarily abandoned
    Nancy and the crew stop examination, and leave the monkeys in a 90 degree room. The monkeys feel terrible. Some are beginning to drip pools of blood beneath their feet. Some fall into a coma-like state. The monkeys will be examined in the future.
