    In mid 2010, (although the 3D experience in cinemas was already out there) 3D television sets made by Samsung became available for purchase.

    In 2013 major manufacturers Samsung and LG released curved TV's in early 2013. This is a huge development as almost all TV's are flat, and curved TV's are claimed to make you feel immersed in what you're watching, as the pictures seem to be more lifelike and have extra depth.
