    This ruling extended the rights of special education to children of all disabilities. Decided that no child can be refused a public education because of any disability. Also stated that students need to be given proper accommodations for public school.

    The court stated that children 6-21 with disabilities are guaranteed special education. It was the first law suit for the right to education.
