  Leonardo Da Vinci was born April 25th 1452 to Caterina and Florentine notary Ser Piero. Leonardo was born at In a little farmhouse on the hills of Tuscany outside the village of Anchiano, in present-day Italy.

  At age 14 Leonardo Da Vinci apprenticeship with the artist Andrea del Verrocchio in Florence. He learned metalworking, leather arts, carpentry, drawing, painting and sculpting.

  At age 20 Leonardo was qualified for a for a membership as a master artist in Florence’s Guild of Saint Luke and getting his own workshop.

  Leonardo's first drawing was of Arno Valley an intricate pen sketch in 1473.

  Leonardo painted Baptism of Christ with some help they finished in 1475

  In 1480 Leonardo started anatomy studying human body parts, dissecting animals and dead men and women, as well as drawing them.

  In 1482 Leonardo Da Vinci was asked to create a silver lyre and present it as a peace offering to Ludovico Sforza

  After thew dinner Leonardo asked Ludovico t osend a letter to the future Duke of Milan to tell of his feats, but not as an artist but a military engineer. Da Vinci then got to work on sketches of weapons including one of a war chariot with scythe blades mounted to the sides.

  For 17 years Leonardo would be in Milan thanks to the letter while there he would create "The Last Supper".

  From 1502 to 1503 Leonardo worked as a war machine engineer for Cesare Borgia

  In 1506 Leonardo worked for French Leaders whom had forced him flee a few years before.

  In 1513 Leonardo moved to Rome

  In 1519 Leonardo died at age 67 in his bed.
