The floppy disk is an iconic technology at the time, where it was used for the concept of saving files and being added storage (despite how small their storage sizes were compared to autosaving, and other technology that followed). The 8-inch floppy disk was introduced in 1971
  • Pong - The First "Real" Video Game

    Pong - The First "Real" Video Game
    Invented by Allan Alcorn Pong was the video game to commercially establish the video game industry. While there have been arguments over what is and what isn't a video game, Pong is what people assume is the first video game due to the video gaming mainstream that occurred during the 70s. It was Pong that encouraged competitors to deviate from the game's original format to various degrees.

    The Cell (Brick) Phone
    Invented by Martin Cooper, W. Rae Young, Eric Tigerstedt, and Donald Cox The original cell phone, the Motorola DynaTAC 8000x, was the first truly mobile phone.The team lead by Cooper started the drive of the idea of mobile telephony in a dramatic manner; Cooper believed that communication was personal, and others can be reached anywhere at any given time. This gave phones a personal touch, as well as giving people individual numbers to call.
  • The OG Apple

    Invented by Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs Considered as the first personal computer or "microcomputers," Apple I was an assembled circuit board; while it needed other aspects like a power supply, power switch, a keyboard, and a video display, Apple I served as the first computer-based product. Though, Apple would drop their first product in favor of its sequel, Apple II, in April of 1977. This was an all-in-one for the average family household.

    Invented by Nobutoshi Kihara of the Sony Corporation. While portable cassette players were a thing, Sony were well known of creating minature music products; the walkman's size was what made it the first portable music system. They came with lightweight headphones, and they were capable of Hi-Fi stereo sound. Everyone wanted a walkman during the tail end of the 70s; the portable cassette player left an impact on how people listen to music.
