    World War I started on June 28th 1914. This was an important time in history because this is when all of the conflicts began the war began in Russia, France, and Britain against Germant and Austria Hungary. This was important because it was the beginning of everything, where everything started.

    Austria rejected Serbia's offer and declared war. On the same day Serbia's ally (Russia) took action. This was important because basically Austria declared war on Serbia because they wouldnt accept their offer and Russia took action.

    Austrian with the assistance of the German turned the tide. This was important because Austria defeated the Russians and drove them eastward.2 weeks later the Austrian army pushed the Russians out of Austria Hungary.

    The Germans announced their submarines would sink without any of the ships in the water around Britain. This policy was called unrestricted submarine warfare. This was important because the Germans had a new technology and they could be able to secretly sink their sumbarine.

    Congress was asked to declare war by President Wilson and the US entered war on the sife of the Allies. This was important because the US joined in war they were getting involved with things, it was also good for thee Allies because they had another country on their side which meant more money and resources.

    Vladimir Ilyich Lenin a communist seized power. He wanted to end his country's involvment in the war, he wanted to first offer Germany a truce. This was important because someone wanted to put an end to their country in the war.

    Allies and Germans clashed at the second battle; of the Marne. Which lead the Allied attack were some 350 tanks that rumbled slowly foward, smashing through the German lines. The Allied forces began to advance steadily toward Germany.
