    Pres.Hoover had passed a tariff. The tariff which raised average tariff rates to nearly 60% was disastrous. This made international trade retaliate by raising rates on U.S goods.

  • Hoover Dam

    The hoover dam was one of Pres.Hoovers biggest projects.The Dam took place during the great depression. It was important to this time period because the project brought work opportunitys.

  • Glass Steagle Act

    Hoover played an important part in passing this law. It helped banks limit any activities on commercial banks. This was to attempt and stabilize the banking sector.
