Stock Market Crashed
This event in history hurt a lot of people who had a lot of money in the bank. This is because they lost this money because there was no possible way to protect it from instances like this. Then people lost their homes and were stuck in the street homeless. At the time about 1/4 of the united states was homeless. -
Puchases lower because of unemployment
When all of this was going on people were no longer able to buy as many luxaries as they usually did. Lots of people had to learn how to stretch their dollar. This would help people overtime because now that if something like this was to happen agaian they would know what to do. These purchases were usually what the family needed and not what they wanted -
The Drought
During the drought the farmers were very poor and had little to no money. This started up auctions on their land which in return started penny auctions. These were very helpful to the farmers because they were able to keep their farms . Later in time Farmers could finally produce all of their crops to the public and things were back to normal
