Skelly named and raised Jake as his own child. He gave him the nickname of thorbert piddler to bring up his confidence . -
The growth of Jake
While Jake was growing up he did not have a male role model to guide him. Skelly took the place of his father and helped Jake by volunteering at school. Also, he helped Jake get stronger by helping him do pull-ups in the park. -
The News

Unrecognized
Jake and couple friends were walking and turned the corner and saw Skelly. Skelly was in the dumpster searching for empty paint cans. Mrs. Russell ran and got Skelly out while kids were making fun of him and Jake standing there not saying a word. -
Diner
Jake, his mom ,and Skelly went to a dinner because he felt bad about Skelly. At the dinner Jake was holding Skelly's hand. While walking with Skelly he saw two girls from his schools and let go of him and rushed to go outside. -
The Unwilling Aunt
It was time fro there family dinner. Skelly was siting next to James mom and Jake as on the other side. Jake realizes that Skelly has food crumbs allover his face and waits to see if his aunt will do something about it. Jake got tired of waiting so gets ups and walks around the table and wiped Skelly's face. -
Broken
James and Jake have always been the types of cousins that always fight. They were fighting over who Skelly liked better. Skelly tried to stop the fight and fell and broke two of his wrist. -
Lost
Someone left the door opened so it made it easy for Skelly to get out. -
The Finding
After couple of days Skelly was walking on the street and a man saw him. The man saw him and tried to make Skelly to go with him but Skelly would not leave his cart behind. Until the man agreed to take it with them and tided it on top of his car. -
The Graduation
As the class speeches go on Skelly got on stage because he had seen paint cans. Jake decided to go up on stage to get Skelly. When he got there Skelly called Jake Harriet an old friend of Skelly's childhood
