    Orcs from the North, Mordor and Isengard attack, and kill Boromir. Meriadoc and Peregrin are captured and carried off towards Isengard. Frodo and Samwise enter the eastern Emyn Muil. Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli set out in pursuit of the orcs at evening.
